ATLANTA — Colin Edelstein, director of NorSouth Constructs (www.nsconstructs.com), has been selected by ULI Atlanta (Urban Land Institute, www.uliatlanta.org), as a member of its 2013 Leadership Class. Edelstein and his classmates will participate in a nine-month educational program and will serve on a Technical Assistance Panel to provide counsel on a pertinent regional land use issue.

According to ULI Atlanta, the mission of its Center for Leadership is to cultivate leadership and life-strategy skills by teaching real estate and land use professionals how the Atlanta region gets built. To assemble the class, the organization identifies emerging leaders currently working in Atlanta’s real estate industry and related fields. Participants must be committed to community service and civic engagement and offer a vision for the future of Atlanta.

“I’m honored to be chosen for ULI’s 2013 Leadership Class,” said Edelstein. “Not only am I looking forward to broadening my skill set, learning more about construction and development throughout the region and hearing from elected officials and industry leaders, but I am also excited about building relationships with my future classmates.”

Edelstein joined NorSouth Constructs in 2011. As director, he services existing clients and cultivates new relationships to augment NorSouth’s growing third-party construction portfolio. His experience spans in excess of $600 million in the capitalization of more than 6,000 residential units.
