Panola Gardens is an 84-unit affordable senior rental development in Lithonia, Georgia of DeKalb County. Using Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) financing, the project was developed by NorSouth Development and targets seniors ages 55 and older. The property contains one-bedroom/ one-bath garden-style rental units with 650 square feet of living space. The site has two on-site medical offices to attend to the residents’ primary care needs. The community also has a community room, computer center, picnic area, outdoor gardens and walking trails. The project was completed mid-2014.
